Surely you don't think that actually being medically qualified gives you a more informed view of physiology than armchair critics?

Rarely- for someone in my sometimes overly arrogant field- I don't think that, but just hope that I might have a deeper understanding.
I am fairly obsessive about CVS Physiology, but that was the case before I qualified.
(or more simply- I assume nothing, and hope that I can translate that to being more open than I might be otherwise).
