That's the one! Suspended railways of this kind almost never make sense compared to conventional designs, but in the narrow confines of the steep valley that Wuppertal lies within and is presumably named after, the only space available for mass transit was above the river Wupper.
Pretty sure Ninjago City just has one because it looks cool.

Just completed this set from the Lego Ninjago Movie, certainly the version of the Destiny's Bounty I liked the best. Really enjoyable - it sits nicely among the 2 sections of Ninjago City that I have built.
Next I would like to expand the city with an 'old town' comprised of siheyuan style courtyard homes (I have some designed in stud.io), and build a suspended monorail (like a Schwebebahn, @Oliver Schick may know what I mean) as one featured in the movie.
