Yeah I'd be willing to pay over the odds for something scarce (pre seat stay drop 50cm supersix disc mount if anyone has one spare 😜)

While we're on the subject, can anybody tell me wtf model my S_eco actually is?

Pre CAD
Noice though. -

Pre CAD for sure. I was thinking it could be an early '90s 3.0, but I've never seen them done up like this in Saeco colours. Of course it could just be a custom job, it's a forum bike from years back so I was hoping somebody might know.

That's a 2.8 '93-'96 MY frame, the 2 letters under the BB shell will tell you the month and year of build. Judging by all those decals and the late 90s / early 00s downtube Cannondale decals it's had paint and fresh decals...

The bolts that hold the saddle to my SAVE seatpost have rusted and in trying to save them I've made a right hash of things... does anyone know where I can get K26007 from?
Slightly desperate as I have a big ride planned next weekend 🙃

Aha, thanks so much, and no wonder I couldn't find what it was exactly. Will have to have a look at the BB tomorrow to find the exact year.

No worries, in case you've not seen this guide....

Cannondale made diapers?

So apparently it's a 2.8 from March 1996. Thanks again for the info!

Gotta love custom screws / bolts / thingies. Assume any Cannondale dealer is like 'nope' on those? They could order them in but it's not going to arrive for your ride.
Might be worth fishing around in your LBS's 'random bolts' bin for something similar?

Rang several 'Dale dealers and no joy, so I've ordered a £15 amazon jobbie to get me through my ride and also ordered this as a longer term fix (which wont be here in time):

yes, delusion
emonda alr cheaper, better
But that's a Trek, and should therefore die in a fire.

maybe worth trying Thomson bolts to see if they will fit?
there are plenty of generic ones one bay/amazon but they are often not dished at the head but flat.

The barrel bolts are too wide alas... 15.5mm on thomson, 11.5mm on cannondale... I have a thomson post on another bike and tried👍🏻
My cheap amazon jobbie is now in place, I've shortened it and it's now the same weight as the equivalent 25.4 thomson elite... I'm calling that a win!

Shameless promotion: bought this pretty 3.0 series SR frame a while ago but I‘m planning to let it go to raise funds for some other projects. If you‘re interested, PM me and we can discuss a forum price.
Edit: gone now

Size?
Scarcity, nostalgia
Modern road bikes are also pretty gopping
And £400 gets you two bags of penne or running a 20w lightbulb for ten minutes now so it’s all relative
