  • Such a shame. What a job though.

  • Pain

  • Stuart fancies a bowl…

  • Watching Broad bat will never not be funny

  • W.G.Grace remains the only test debutant to take a wicket & score a century, apparently.

  • For those who enjoy the wordle thing

    Stumple.me

  • Rooooooooooot

  • Good grab that. They are talking it up like it’s the best thing ever though, which is a bit ott.

  • Get in Leachy

  • Roller-coaster innings to come

  • Is there any reason why someone with a musical instrument should be allowed into a cricket ground?

Lord's has it right. No flags, no musical instruments, can still bring in a bit of your own booze.

  • Barmy army trumpeter has been allowed in for years. Adds to the atmosphere.
He picks his moments to pipe up.

  • Can't happen again. Can it?

  • If you’re prepared to risk a bottle or three of cheap red from the Tesco up the road you can blag your way into Lords with a few and say you’re bringing it in for mates who are already in there. Get them to do the same. Last time I did that I can just about remember watching Jimmy get his 500th wicket. I remember not queuing for booze all day which was a delight

  • Crawley, not content with being a walking wicket, decides to run out his partner…

  • Crawley you fucking moron

  • Fantastic by the fielder and bowler though.

  • There's a secret bar that rarely has any queue...

  • Two daft reviews. Hope that comes back to bite them

  • Never had much of a problem with bar queues at Lord's, especially now they have dedicated bars for bitter/lager/Guinness.

As with most bars it's the people that order 3 G&T's and wank on about which Gin and which tonic they want in each, a Pimms, a decaf cappucino, a chai latte, a bottle of wine "can I see the wine list please?", then right at the end and just before paying ask for a Guinness.

  • Can you still take a bottle of wine or four beers into a Lords test?

  • Yup. Helps keep things ticking over

  • They've changed the rules on alcohol for limited overs games I think

Gutted the trains are expensive tomorrow for Day 5

  • Dukes hastening the their own demise by producing shit balls that go squoval.

  • I was thinking about it but even on the other side of the Pennines, it seems a long way to go for a session and a bit.
