• Yep, it's lovely, but even if I had £150k to blow on a classic sports car, I wouldn't be buying an E-type. They're nice, but they're not that nice.

  • They're beautiful, I very nearly bought one 25 years ago (series 1 flat floor coupe in primrose yellow). You have to ignore several simple facts; they don't go round corners, they don't stop, candles are more effective than the original lights, the claimed 150mph is a myth. But, they are beautiful.

  • They are, but given the choice of 60s sports cars for £150k I'd prefer an AC Frua 428. Came close to buying one of them about 17 years ago for £20k. Rather regret not having done so now! It would have been a better investment than using it to increase the deposit on my house, which is what I ended up doing instead.
