Tilting base (1) part of the saddle rail clamp felt pretty flimsy and had a very small contact area so I replaced it with the one from my previous seatpost
The coloured tube (2) which the bolts thread through can actually slide fore and aft when the bolts aren't tightened. Discovered this too late after really struggling to get the right angle on the front bolt's head with no clearance from the seat post.
Between the new CF post and new Ti rail saddle, saved 120g on my previous setup even though my old post was 50 mm shorter. Made these changes for comfort either way, but still interesting.
