It may be lipped on the backside, if not then I cannot see why you could not!
Go to is brilliant bikes; while their website is attricious the shipping is free and fast; something sjs really need to change!

This - i love sjs but they would get more of my cash if they at least made delivery for small bits quicker.

M stem with S bars?

M1E - Still have it, gonna convert it to a 2 speed plus mudguards, pretty sure I have a photo somewhere.
M3L - Gave it to my mom. She loves the compliments she gets from all other non-Brompton folder riders. Truth be told, she doesn't know how to fold it!
M6XL-R - My shopper/pub bike! Will get a photo soon!

I'll give the Conti a go the next time my tyres are done. If anything, I do wish someone would make wider mudguards and tyres for the stock wheels!

The problem is the height, you'll not fit much more tyre under the fork crown or the through at the chainstay bridge.
The v brake forks I've made have more width but increasing the length of the fork affects the fold a bit.

Agreed paying for standard delivery and waiting 4 days for despatch is laughable; brilliant bikes is 1-2 days dpd or rm first class, shipped same / next day and it’s free.

Not sure exactly what Spa's policy is as they don't seem to be shouting about it on the website as some do but they seem to have it about right, you buy one thing you pay postage, you buy a few things and its often free postage.
Haven't figured out if its a quantity thing, a value thing or some kind of spatial/weight thing.

Yeah, apparently handles a bit oddly

• #11562
Because of the bar/stem or just because it’sa brommy?!
-
• #11563
Not surprising given both S and M stems are very different, I'll do it the other way BUT not the other.

Bit of both I think. One of the guys at work is wanting to swap out his S stem that currently has wide nittos in it for a P stem but obviously is struggling to find one.
I'm considering swapping to an S stem and slapping some Kuosac bars on it -

Wouldn't it be nice if Brompton just sold frame parts to open market

This gone?

• #11567
Still here!

Got to source 3 bikes; so that might be a good candidate!
-
• #11569
That would be nice, though I'm gonna guess they don't even have any P type stems any more.
-
• #11570

E Brompton on the Bay without charger; dodge, or worth a punt?

Yes and yes, I'll go and check it again. Are the sprockets reversible? It seems wild to replace the sprocket so often! I guess the teeny things see a lot of rotations. What's the go-to place for spares (if not SJS of course)?
