I'm tempted to get a Metropolitan fast train (bikes allowed after 7pm, last fast train is 7:30) to Chorleywood (or similar), drop down to The Land of Liberty, and from there to the Coy Carp and/or Old Orchard, then crack on homeward (probably bailing out somewhere along the Metropolitan/Central line). Would anyone be up for this plan (or some variation thereof) on Wednesday evening?
Thursday would probably be better for normal drinks in Acton (as @NorthLondonLight suggests) and wouldn't suit this plan anyways because of the strikes.
