Have copied the description from ebay, please don't be offended by it. (not currently listed on ebay)
A rare opportunity to acquire an iconic pre-Trek era Quantum in Candy Teal. In 1993 the state of art aluminium frame was still paired up with a steel fork, countering the relentlessly stiff ride feel. This rides noticeably smoother than the later aluminium-carbon models, yet maintains the responsiveness Quantums are known for.
Gary Klein founded his namesake brand while studying at MIT, pioneering the use of large diameter aluminium tubes for greater stiffness and lower weight. His uncompromising process produced beautiful welds and vivid paint. Both are certainly present in this example, too.
In overall good condition. Has suffered some minor paint chips and scratches, but nothing structural to note. Please refer to pictures for details.
Center-to-center measurements as follows:
Seat tube: 53cm
Top tube: 55cm
Rear spacing 130mm, seatpost diameter 27.2mm. Comes with a Tange Seiki headset and press-fit bottom bracket. New bearings recently installed by Seabass Cycles.
Available for collection in Canonbury N1. Posting negotiable. £200 SOLD
