Thanks - I thought it looked a bit wrong ! Is any other step needed after putting in water over night? Should it just brush off after?

Well wipe it off and put it in the sun. But make sure you got vent holes. I design my frames with big ol' vent holes so water drains out easily. I don't believe you can keep water out completely so instead I invite it in and make sure it can leave again
