Camera clear out (have gone full frame) - guessed at prices after a quick scan of ebay sold prices. Open to offers/selling together, but need to fund getting a lens for new camera so will go to ebay before going too low. Would prefer collection from Brixton hill/can maybe deliver in South London.

Sony A6500 - 26295 actuations. Comes with extra battery, original kit lens, strap, etc. £515

Having carried mine around 900km without a single photo I wonder if I should bother looking for a spare battery for it.

Can't you charge it via a USB battery pack? That's what I've done with mine mostly and have very rarely run out of power. Though battery life has been pretty good so maybe your battery is dodgy?

Yeah, but that's shit if you're riding or want to use it while charging. It's also slow so I was thinking of getting a second battery and external charger. I didn't use it on the 600k because pushed for time, but then went to use it on the 300k and it was flat. I'm hoping that was just because I'd left it on or something but still, I don't normally do that so it worries me I'm going to carry around a useless camera.

Do you use Viewfinder or LCD screen? I've checked brightness is down and I've turned on Airplane Mode.

Bit of both and it's generally had really good battery life. I wonder if your battery is fucked? I would expect to be able to take a load of photos with or without the screen before the battery ran out.
Admittedly I take a fuji x100t on bike rides rather than the Sony because the lens is really bulky. But I've very rarely had the battery run out of charge on the Sony.
(the usb charging I've just used to top it up on the rare ocassions it has got a bit low).

It's sat for 90mins with the lens cap on after taking a few photos and a video and is at 99%.
I wonder if it wasn't charged properly in the first place? I'm sure it was for the 600k because I did it but maybe it was left on during/after that and then not charged?

Sounds possible definitely. if it's not done it multiple times I'd do some more experimenting because they definitely should last quite a while.

Maybe the best solution is to buy an entirely new camera that comes with two batteries? And save me dealing with ebay...

Hard pass. I donated one of my SLRs (#golfclub) recently, I don't need more camera kit. I barely use it.
