  • I haven't opened my own fresh oysters

    Unless you’re a fishmonger or a cryo-preserved 18th century fishmonger’s daughter, it’s probably not unusual.

  • I usually open my own oysters. But that's because 99% I'm buying and eating them in France.

    TBH I struggle with the idea of paying >£2 each here when they're €5-8 a dozen there.

    However, I don't believe in oyster knives.
