He’s 22 though, from what I understand, generally grand tour endurance builds up and people tended to be GT contenders from 27 onwards.
Remco can climb, just not consistently. If his physiology can’t hack the cumulative fatigue of a grand tour, the heat, the wet, that would be a shame.
Maybe relocate him to Andorra for the off season?
He's also come into cycling relatively late and completely skipped being an U23 so he isn't going to have the same endurance base as others yet.
