Does the opinel part make it more or less golf club?
I was coming to post that

I wasn't sure so left it out. It is a nice knife though.

I wasn't sure either.
I want an oyster knife, but have never had turned up to restaurant that didn't have its own. Is it golf club that I haven't opened my own fresh oysters. Have had in cafe and restaurants in France but never the UK.

Unless you’re a fishmonger or a cryo-preserved 18th century fishmonger’s daughter, it’s probably not unusual.

I dunno, I live near Whitstable and oysters are cheap easy to come by. The sell knives for a couple of quid in the fishmongers. I keep meaning to grab one.
*awaits some wag to quote the above.

Because what started as outing Boorish Pringle wearers for bragging about their company cars now seems to involve attempting to mock anyone mentioning anything vaguely nice.

I have never eaten oysters, I'd like that knife though.
@fadooks I think this thread ate itself ages ago and anything posted now is very much tongue in cheek.

But, seriously, if I had to describe the taste and texture I'd say it's like slurping up a very salty grolly. It's not for me.
