Could the wheel bearings affect how twitchy a bike feels?
I thought it was my imagination at first after not having used this bike for a while but after a few more km ridden, it definitely feels different. I didn't touch the headset at all, the only thing I changed were the wheel bearings. There in no play in the axle and the nuts are installed correctly.
Yes I was, several bikes but none with a headtube and fork quite as steep as this one. And I think you're right - it felt completely normal on my commute today. So strange how yesterday I couldn't get it stable no-handed and today it's like I was born doing it!
