It doesn't seem cheap enough for a black bay knock off. (Although I guess I'm thinking of my black bay which cost about £1,800 new, I've no idea how much they cost now.)
I'd prefer something that has its own design rather than being so obvious a homage (the reason I don't like a lot of Steinharts too).

I think the other colours they do are nicer, but yeah, that'll lose a chunk of its value I reckon. Other 'microbrands' like Baltic or Halios maybe not as much, or at all, but I've never seen or heard of these guys and they're not exactly cheap. I'd be hard pressed to buy a microbrand at $1k tbh.

What are peoples thoughts on microbrands? I quite fancy a watch from this local company, but it's quite expensive £747 which is getting on a bit for a Tudor homage. Is that likely just to lose all it's money and be worthless in a few years?? I'm meeting the fella who runs it later in the week to see them in the flesh and have a chat..
