• I’m using the Dylon machine dyes, mainly because it’s what I started with and have ended up in their colour eco-system, but they come mixed with the salt & fixing chemicals. This makes it a one-shot for convenience and consistency, plus easy to pickup locally

I’ve looked at Rit, which are (supposedly) more environmentally friendly, but haven’t actually tried them yet - less synthetic palette which looks appealing

The quantities in the Dylon tubs are pretty huge for a small kids T, so I could put together a kit for you if you let me know colours? To give you an idea, the Day Tripping T’s are 4 colours; Dark Blue, Light Blue, Yellow, Orange, with the blue and yellow mixing to make the green in the centre. It’s taken a while to learn to mix colours like a spectrum, and work together, unless you’re after an olive-sludge!

  • A kit would be ace. I guess colour spectrum similar to original ones available at pop up for maybe 2 kids 2 adult t shirts?
If that is getting to quantise of tubs though do say. The brown sludge does make me nervous.
