Is it worth getting specific insurance for a watch?
If you've got niche outliers like that, you should either do that or use an insurer with capacity to tailor parts of the policy. It's definitely not a situation where you should assume anything.

You really should. My nice watch used to be covered away from the home because I figured there was more chance or damage/theft. TBH I still haven't brought it back into our house, because it originally put our premium up at a point when we were trying to cut costs.

My home insurance covers mine, with the Pelagos listed as a specific item, but guess it doesn't cover theft if I am out of the house?
