I went through scanners with film last week and it was fine.

very long shot but has anyone got a contax T for sale? Rangefinder alignment is out of whack on mine and unfortunately it doesn't look as though it can be repaired...

Leica has been repaired N on its way back. Will update once it's here and I've shot a tester roll. Can't wait!

Love these cameras.

There are tiny screws for horizontal and vertical adjustment in the film chamber (according to the Contax T fb group).

Don’t know about the Minilux but the C3 was junk.

I'd love to know as I'd quite like an affordable p and s.

Cheers, I've also heard this but sent the camera off to PPP cameras to get someone professional to do it and he's said that the adjustment is broken. Think I'm gonna persevere with this one and just learn to zone focus/don't shoot wide open. The prices have gone through the roof since I bought mine 5 years or so ago

Does anyone know somewhere that would entertain repairs on an Olympus MJU ii? I now have 2 that aren't working as they should, both with different issues.

Might be worth having a word with https://pppcameras.co.uk/ but they are very difficult to repair unfortunately.

Yeah, I tried him yesterday. He wasn't keen.

Thought that might be the case. Are your pics above from the mju? If so, mine had v similar light leaks before the rewind button went on it, finally rendering it completely unusable. Nice pictures by the way

I dont even know if affordable is the word now, I love the T2 and would replace it with a T3 but this is my 4th one so I can keep replacing them not at the price they are now.
If the nikon or Leica where decent but a bit cheaper id probs buy one of those.
Its the light seals inside the body that have went again....

Zone focusing on this is super simple green markings on the lens indicate what’s in focus just line up the green f-stop (8?) with green dot and every over a couple of meters is focused.

Yep, I do prefer the relative precision of a rangefinder but this is gonna be how the camera works from now on I guess.

Lovely, especially the first two.

Thanks for that. Have just been reading the Russian guy's blog—some pretty mad stuff on there. Glad to see there are a few (younger) people emerging who are willing to work on these weird little cameras.
When I was in Tokyo during the big 'quake and there was a slightly elevated radiation level in the city following the damage to the power plant, one of the stranger facts we discovered was that the additional exposure we would get was about half as much as we would receive during the 13 hour flight back to Blighty. Still didn't stop a whole bunch of people leaving.
