Thanks @Backstop and @6pt - I've actually realised I can get away without it but good to know it's possible. Illustrator version prob fits in best with my workflow. Seems silly you just can't rightclick on the line and save as an image but ho hum.
I suppose I should investigate if I can take the raw data from excel and bring it in as input data in Fusion which is where I'm trying to get it to go eventually as an animated chart.
Making office charts pretty is a somewhat reductive description of my job these days. This is usually the optimal solution, especially for simple chart types.
