Thanks, I live in Berlin so not really local unfortunately. Got something similar though and also still waiting for the frame to go through customs, where it got scanned twice a day but no other progress for the last 10 days .

Certainly not just round the corner, no.
I just booked a couple of weeks in Morzine (one in July, one in August) so could do some light, recreational smuggling then if that's helpful.

And a word of warning- I’ve been running the offset bushing in the low position and the piggy-back has just kissed the sticker I put on the downtube.
If you have a piggy back shock, only use the high position.

Good to know, will start with the stock shock without piggy and 29er wheels, but will keep in mind in case I try a mullet setup

TBH the situation in which you are meant to use the low position is as a 29er, high position is MX, neither of which matter with the stock shock.

It was a lot of fun, I think I crashed 5 times, bent the mech hanger (again) and replaced it, got back out again. I am ok on corners that have some support, but flat, muddy corners and loose, off camber corners are things I have to work on.

900’s you reckon?

Your hands look to sit quite inboard in that photo, so perhaps moving the brake levers out a bit would give you some added width feel

In case the Pembree pedals start to feel a bit cheap

Are you waiting for the AXS version ;-)

Ha, I've got cheap taste when it comes to pedals. Low bb makes for bashed up pedals.

Yes, I see what you mean
Have you located the edge of your courage yet?

I have the 1.5l/original version - have been meaning to get the larger one but have not yet done so.
The design is clever, I think it's well made, but it's got some issues.
My frame is an XL, the bag installs as in your picture - so the logical hose routing is (again) as pictured, which means that you have to bend down to get the plastic teat in your mouth as the hose is at least 30cm shorter than it should be, in order to be comfortable.
I also find that Apidura's bit valve thing is a bit shit.
In order to address these issues I've bought some new hose, and some Osprey hardware (including a quick disconnect) which I'll be fitting when I locate the motivation.
Overall I think it's good, but choice of hardware on the hose and only having one (too short) length for the hose are both unfortunate choices - although they can be addressed, and the core part of the product is good.

Thanks, I'm definitely going to need to order some hose then :-D
Will see how I get on with the valve, as I'm only familiar with the Camelbak ones
