It is starting to grow on me.

Silver hubs and rims tie the room together
-
• #254
They do indeed. Black chainrings would be perfect for me, a future upgrade perhaps?
Initially, I wasn’t sure about the all black but I think it looks great as is. All silver would just be like all the others, but still very lovely.

Looks perf as is.

Agreed. Like the mix of polished and black components.

Thanks all. I will consider this bike done then. (Okay, I’m going to change one tiny thing still. But that’s it!)

Good, but needs boutique bidons

I have a set of these, but they're a little on the nose. Any suggestions?

Sim works do some nice ones, printed on specialized purist bottles.

Just browsed sim works and the athletic, but no dice. You will find something.

You just need a friction shifter for the other side now ;)

Don't tempt me.

We really lack role models like Lance these days.

Don’t be shy. Show us the brake levers.

Both Chorus still. Thinking of removing the shifter mechanism from the left one.

• #270
Oh I see. Makes sense. What is the FD? Not Campag by the looks of things?
-
• #271
due to the flex of the frame.
Sorry wut?
-
• #273
What is the FD?
Shimano 105, but happened with the Chorus one as well. Regular shifting with the 105 derailleur was actually really good, maybe even better than with the Chorus one.
Sorry wut?
My theory is that when I'm accelerating hard out of the saddle, the frame/bb area twists so badly that the cable tension increases, pulling at the lever side. I can hear the shifter clicking, and when I don't trim the derailleur back it will eventually shift to the little ring.

This doesn't sound ideal. I guess sprinting out of the saddle isn't very Crusty.

It was driving me pretty mad indeed. Fixed now though, so all is good!
Keep it as it is. Looks great with silver chainset and black seat post and stem
