...anyway, it's specifically the combination of 'Mr/Mrs/Ms/Mx...' and a forum username that I personally find cutesy to the point of irrational irritation, if not actual hate.
Nothing to do about real-world surnames or genders - most usernames don't reflect either of these, so how could I infer anything about who's taken their spouse's real-world surname?
