Ah , i won’t bother making comments about this kind of stuff as I’m an uniformed Luddite really. I’d love to get a little electric vehicle for local journeys but also keep a classic and maybe cut out the diesel when it dies

Haven’t filled the tank in the car since December. Keeping it because, well emergencies? Tempted to sell it though (12 plate Mini Countryman Cooper) and use the funds to buy something old and silly as it would still be a car for emergencies.

Friend went to see a RHD DS project, and it is £500. Been in storage for 10 years...no engine and parts missing. Seems good chasis wise but needs boot floor and inners.

Older bikes and cars don't have Nox emissions figures as they were never tested for Nox.

Running the engine rich, reduces Nox by reducing charge temperature. Speak to the guys and they will tell you how the bike will pass.

A real one of these, almost identical, drove past me when I was parked in Henley yesterday. Utter filth.

This is my constant fear, and particularly that the generation of cars that I like (late 90s/early 00s) is becoming too expensive and rare to reasonably use as a daily/family car.

I guess it depends what you've had before and what's important to you.

The big skoda that we have at present, although not brand new anymore (2017) is easily the best car I've owned. VAG 220 TSi is a really nice engine.

At times I would swap it for something smaller but then I'd need something else for family holidays.
