London - Brussels

Hi, I am planning to cycle to Brussels in one day, so it would be great to learn if anyone has any experience on the route and the ferry crossing. My plan is to catch the Dover - Dunkirk ferry.

Main questions:
1. suggestion on the route
2. What are the power plugs on the ferry to charge garmin?

A few years ago rode from south london and crossed at dover (116km) and rode to Ypres (66km), staying the night and riding to Brussels the next day via Koppenberg and Patterberg (135km). Achievable in a day if you get the right ferry crossing.

Yep, join the canals and you'll get there in a day, just be prepared for a very flat ride where the biggest climb you do is a bridge over a main road.

Good chance of riding 200km into a block headwind as we did, just to warn you
