Is there a forum approved vacuum sealer machine. Seems to be hundreds of the things, with no real consensus on quality. Thanks ~ S

Too under the weather to exercise while on holiday, went for a Ottolenghi triple bill.
Mustard cauliflower cheese, Asian pork and aubergine, and Nutella cake roll thingies. All from Simple, all very good, although the cauliflower needed some re-jigging after the recipe called for far too much salt (which I suspected but chucked in anyway, whoops).

I have precisely the same experience with vacuum sealers as I have with wives - only ever had one and it’s getting on, has had a fair bit of use, but I’m jolly happy with the acquisition.

I don’t think this was posted with bad intention but it’s kinda misogynistic

Sorry, really not intended as such!

I was given this last year https://www.sousvidetools.com/vacuum-packing-machines/chamber-vacuum-packing-machines/sousvidetoolsr-senses-300-chamber-vacuum-packer
It’s fucking awesome but probably a little overkill!

Ottolenghi raita, curry cauliflower, and apple cake. Lamb bites were spot on too, all from Simple again.

I have just had a facegasm. A sort of truffle ripe Brie illegitimate child of illicit sex in the queue for the ferry to France. I’m not sure I have eaten a nicer mouthful. Ever.
Cheesemonger has my details for an e business card later. Will share. I think my tongue has a hard on.

Looks like a steamer ring that lets you use different sized saucepans.

It's a steamer ring - lets the steamer sit on top of any sized pan. I probably picked it up from ebay or amazon.
[Edit] new page. ^ that.

C3 is a bit unsure though.

A4 has had enough

That's a matter of perspective I think

fantastic, I got a 10" steamer a while back but all of my pans are just slightly the wrong size and I've stopped using it as much because it was a faff, this is exactly what I've needed and had never heard of them (nor did they appear in the normal results for a steamer for some reason).

Another
bodgeoption is to use a wok, but you have to monitor the water level.
This was followed shortly by a frozen vegan lamashun smeared with cream cheese.
Then I went to Ridley Road Market Bar and had some delicious Taiwanese style dumplings. Not a euphemism. All before 9pm. What a life.
