Have a new wheel with a dt Swiss 240 rear hub, and I can’t get the rotor to sit between the pads, and looks like I need a <0.5mm spacer to make it work, is such a thing advisable and available?
It’s not just me, as a friend has the same wheel in a different frame and brake and has the same issue…
A shim under a centrelock rotor to move it outboard? 0.5mm probably won't kill you. Of course, this is why 6-bolt rotors and IS calipers are better than all the subsequent shit, you can safely shim one or the other to move the relative positions either way.
