  • Jumping on this, anyone recommend a pair that has a thinner pad, but still good for long days? Hate thick chamois when your walking around etc.

  • Any pair of tri shorts will have a thinner and narrower chamois. Zoot are often 1/2 price and have a very thin but also not very padded chamois. My TYR shorts have a nice slim but padded chamois and Huub have a nice pad but are short in the leg if your not wearing overshorts.

  • Santini bibs have a gel pad that’s thinner than normal shorts, I’ve had a couple of pairs and they’ve lasted years. there likely to be a bit more than £100 but there worth it.

  • Universal colours mono are the best bibs I've owned. Pad is reasonably thin and they come up fairly short, which I like. Under 100 for the sigma branded ones and there's an offer code at sigma arm.
