  • I have 175 hollowgram 52/36 crankset in classifieds. FYI. Edit: sold.

That clearcoated himod looks great. Please post build asap.

  • The ONEs are only around 60g heavier per arm. I've never ridden the hollowgrams though, are they much stiffer?

  • Much stiffer than just about anything. 25 years after they came out they are still the schiz.

  • Customer just informed me I've been saying "Cannondale" wrong this whole time:

    It's actually "Ca-Non-De-Lay"

  • Work of art

  • Just catching up on all this, I've been away. Thanks for the tips, some good stuff here. The quote for repair is significantly less than what a new frameset would be, even with significant discount I think. I'll update on here when the repair's done. It will likely take a few weeks though :(

  • Just had a look, its been a truly wounding couple of weeks for finances so not sure I can justify another couple hundred quid. Also I am hopeful if prices and supply ever go back to normal that I can upgrade the groupset to di2 or etap so would then use the shimano/sram crankset. I noticed on your classifieds post that the hollowgrams were replaced for shimano, what was the reason for switching if you don't mind me asking?

  • Pure aesthetics. I like DA9100 cranks and I found some cheap.

  • finally ready
    :)

(must find some black sram red brakes)

  • I’m a big fan of the silver brakes on this. Biased as the colourway for my bike is almost identical, but it’s nice to break up the black occasionally!

If you wanted to go black, you could look at the AliExpress EE copies?

  • hunt, ceramic speed, rapha

  • Just worked at the right places at the right time. Dentist bling on a barista budget😉

  • Very nice! Whats the weight?

Description says 62cm, but the specification above it says 58cm. I'm guessing it's a 62cm but thought I'd share it just in case.

  • wow - appreciate the heads up but the condition vs cost of that is putting me off a bit

  • Does anyone have a rough idea how much discount is usually offered on Cannondales crash replacement scheme? The repair to my 2020 SS Evo is quite a bit, I'm wondering what sort of figure they would be asking for a replacement frameset? Many thanks for any help

  • Historically it wasn’t great. I mean better than a punch in the face and still nice of them but from memory somewhere around 20-30% off. Better buying a frame set that’s a year old probs.

  • I mean better than a punch in the face

    🤣🤣🤣

  • I have no recent experience but used it to replace my supersix in 2015, I got a complete 2016 hi-mod black inc frame and fork for £1300 I think, a new one at the time was £3600 or something crazy.

If you enquire with your LBS who is dealing with it cannondale will normally have a price list you can look at and decide what you want.

  • Interesting, thanks all. Have enquired, will see what they come back with.

  • They look rad. Would have been great with thru-axles and disc brakes for true 'modern race bike technology'.

I am guessing they are customs as opposed to an official release?

  • I thought these looked great, all sold out if i'm not mistaken.

Still yet to see CAAD13 rim brake framesets coming up for sale much, would love to do this design with my silver Shamal lookalikies.

  • I put a 46/30 on my caad12. Was a slight faff due to the braze on FD Mount. I did a thread on it, if you’re interested !
