Nakagami needs to get out of his habit of taking other people out https://www.visordown.com/news/racing/motogp/watch-nakagami-rins-hospitalised-after-vicious-catalunya-motogp-pile

I had an early VFR many years ago. I never thought of it as a V4. To me it was a Datsun/Electrolux mashup. A Pan European with less luggage.

Supersport red-flagged on the final lap because another chap died. The commentators on ITV4 are looking glum. But they haven't announced it yet.

That article reads like it was written by a petulant 12 year old.
He crashed in Mugello and here? How is that a habit? Maybe show some empathy for the guy after nearly having his head ripped off and is still hospitalised?
Stewards declared him clean, having braked for same time as everyone else.
Majority of raging comments were by Zarco, himself having a rap sheet of taking people out.Have a cup of tea.

Blade price is batty, even though it is a time capsule. GSXR looks good!

Looks like the the TT people mis identified who died in the sidecar race.
Thoughts are with the families.

I think if I was to have a bike to look at, gen 1 'blade would be high up the list.

Agreed, but one that looks more like this ...

I love the round headlight Blades - they're stone classics.

Eyeboner.
Saw one of those last summer near my house. Wanted to follow him for a chat but MrsDeth said it was creepy (she was right)

I saw the end of the Tour of Britain stage roar into Gloucester docks this afternoon.
A load of the ladies sat at tables outside Cafe Corretti afterwards.
I came past on Bob the Bullitt and got a shout of ‘sick bike!’
So yes.

Did something insane. Stupid photo on the day of purchase, but had it for a few weeks now and I'm beyond enamored. Still doesn't feel like mine.

Nice!

Needs nothing obviously, but probably going to get some bench seat for it and clean up the tail a bit. I feel a bit sheepish about having something so nice, but what the hell...

Lovely machine! Without the gold and with a gentle squint it could be Meriden.
If it were mine I’d be just stripping coatings and polishing alloy….

Yeah I'm slowly going to chip away at some style points, but for now just going to get to know the bike rather than throw money at it.
I'm not even sure whether I want to keep the fender or not.
This: https://www.maundspeed.com/product-page/thruxton-r-1200-tail-light-housing-with-turn-signal-mount
Vs this: https://www.maundspeed.com/product-page/thruxton-r-rs-1200-fender-eliminator-with-led-turn-signals
Half of me likes the less obvious choice of leaving the fender on, but I think when it comes down to it I'll get rid of the fender.

Plenty of time for tweaking. Hope you're enjoying some sunny miles.
New Michelin 2CTs and OEM brake pads arrived in the house here. Suppose I should get on and fit them...the eternal dilemma of 'can I be arsed to do the tyres myself?' is a little easier to determine this time. Mrs Jung will have an infarct if there are any more motorcycle expenditures this month....

I got some pictures of motorbike thieves, is it worth reporting? There were no number plates on both bikes so no way to link it to owners.

Yes. Worth reporting
Speaking of wild - did anyone see the Motogp? Nakagami took out Bagnaia’s back wheel with his head. Fortunately he seems fine - he owes his Arai tech a drink or two!
