I can't imagine anything more painfully middle management than being on a waiting list for a Tudor Black Bay Pro.
It is the spiritual opposite of walking into the mess shop and buying a Rolex Explorer for £125 in 1967.

Back ordered base model Tesla 3?

It is the modern day equivalent of walking into the mess shop, and buying a Rolex Explorer for £125 in 1967

Probably that as well. As long as it is on lease and paid for with car allowance. So tax efficient.

There's only a waiting list for them because they're new releases. The blue BB58 and the pepsi BB GMT also had wait lists for a few months but now you can walk in and buy one anywhere.

They’re really expensive to get sadly but I love that Seiko.

Didn't realise there was a waiting list for these models.
I have a feeling it’s more waiting for stock rather than being on the list if you’re the privilege type.

I have one of these coming in for sale if anyone interested.
Seamaster 1948 limited edition ( one of 1948) lightly worn but very good.

He said 13th and 3rd on the lists.
Has a Seamaster, Panerai and a Tudor BB something.
Previously had a Bronze Black Bay but chopped it in as he didn't like the patina affect.Guessing he either buys them in random places, or he isn't a preferred customer to jump any queue.
Being new stock issues makes sense compared to say Rolexes supply "issues".
I saw a Pelagos FXD on Crono24 with a ludicrous mark up which seemed predatory as they are seemingly in most Tudor stockists windows. think someone was chancing a wait for them and profiting from the delay. -

Yes, the original Black Bays didn't have them. I agree that they look shit.

He said 13th and 3rd on the lists.
Either it’s a proper Rolex-style privilege list or literally the exact number of Tudor waiting to arrived.

Their sports BBs (the oyster perpetual styled versions) I think he means
Dumb nomenclature

The smileys didn't have them

10% off at WatchNation… PayPal pay in three… I am weak.
There's an orange dial version btw for fans of the classic Seiko orange/black/gold colourway.

Yours looks great as is but i picked up my strap for £25 from watch gecko just to give it a try before buying an original strap but they are about £150 the guy in the shop had one on his own watch and let me try it on and whilst it was lovely and soft and had a nice buckle I'm not going to pay that for one especially as they fade and are prone to fraying. The fact they are hand made on the same looms used to make the Popes robes doesn't matter to me. These come in all widths and single or double pass. Well worth a try for the price.

It's nice but I just hate the shape of the modern Seiko 5 dial markers and hands.

Better looking than the GS GMT

When you were known as something different on here.
Chatting to someone in a different department this morning and noticed he is wearing a Panerai.
Talk swiftly moved onto watches and he is on a waiting list for a Tudor Black Bay Pro and the bi-metal GMT.
Didn't realise there was a waiting list for these models.
@pullingteth where did you source your GMT from? he was most put out that I "know" someone with a GMT
