• Roast me, please. I feel like something is off on my build. Don't entirely like the look of it. I guess cutting the steerer will be an improvement. On that note, where do you all reckon I can find a steerer star nut thingy. I've been looking around on the internet but couldn't really find anything.
I really really liked that Colnage that @Flandria posted recently. This just looks silly in comparison.
Another thing I don't really like about my bike, a small 51cm frame, is that the handlebars feel like they almost hit the tyres so to speak. It's inherent to the bike, but I dislike it.
Maybe the cranks are too fat? Maybe it's the mismatch between Shimano and Sram?
    (I love riding it though)

  • Steerer length, aesthetically challenged cranks, black spokes, black stem and seatpost, BDHU

I think it looks fine really but those are the things I'd personally change if I could be bothered!

Are they carbon forks? If so, use an expander sleeve rather than a star nut.

  • I think some more attractive chain rings and bars with less drop and BDHU would sort this out nicely. The stem looks short relative to the top tube as well, so if you get bars that also have less reach then you could correspondingly lengthen the stem.

  • Cut your steere tube.

Clamping a stem on carbon steere tube without a compression sleeve inside can lead to cracking.

  • I think your Concorde's basically pretty too.
I'm using da 7700 on the 7800 crank arms; for me 7700 was the acme of form and functionality (but the stiffness of the 7800 on its bb is worth having). If you're looking at chainrings I think TA hegoa are nice: very machined, very light. Below is an early version of the cobra with semi-compact Hegoa rings. I also think black rings would draw attention back to the pink/white black fade of the frame. Shit, here I go sounding like a stylist, again.
