This is great. Them FES' indeed are never ever for sale so the buyer may consider him/herself lucky. Did you ride this on the streets?
FES sprint frame - from memory this is a 1989 or 1990 model - one of Jens Fiedler's frames. It's crazily stiff as you would expect.
Size is equivalent to about a 58cm. I am 6'1" and it fits me perfectly with the set-up shown. Equally it could work for some one from, say, 5'10" upwards.
Re-sprayed to a very high standard with prismatic paint and a bullet-proof epoxy clear topcoat.
Dura-Ace chainset, pedals and seat post. Crane Creek headset. Nitto bars. Zip deep section wheels - front has normal road hub, rear has been re-spoked onto a Goldtech track hub and is very stiff.
In very good overall condition and is unique - FESs almost never come onto the market. Obviously huge HHS potential if you are that way inclined.
Am based in East London.
