It’s amazing when you think about it. How did he get this far? He’s the leader of our country ffs. On paper he looks like some wife beater benefits cheat

He allows people to get away with all sorts of corruption: relaxed environmental rules, direct adjudications via MPs, obscure Irish Sea contracts, no hardline policing for those with connections, a general culture of being above the law… He’s making a lot of people a lot of money and they love him for it, and they’re more than happy to tolerate anything he does as long as they’re still making bank.
