Nice! Bonus points for Sramergo.

Thanks! Works IMHO better than the 8spd Shimergo setup I usually use...and great with 44/28 to 12/36.

That is super nice!! Any.more photos?
How did you get 650b to work on that frame?

Let me look, guess some other pictures should be ok as well ;)
Missus didn't like the original colour (:-/), so with the respray we had the canti bosses replaced a little bit more to the top by a frame builder.

Tempted to build this up, I think I can put together an 8 speed triple group set with bar end shifters from the parts bin.

Trying to get this built up to get back riding after 2+ years of not doing anything more than commute. Eery time I go to finish it I realise there is something else I still need, think I'll chuck it in to my old work and get them to finish it for me otherwise it may never get done.
Was overly optimistic on the fit - that stem is just for show, looks like a +6 Deg is still leaving a bit of an aggressive fit

Looking for, readily available, slim headset spacers that will be a good match for a steel stem. Nitto/SIM Works CrMo and eBay Ti are the only options I can find, are there any middle ground options I'm missing?

Was in France at the weekend and I still have loads of french beaters.
Brought back three french beaters back to London. 2x mixte & 1x traditional geo.
No need to find the time to make them roadworthy!

Version 1 of my rowdy as fuck Columbus Max Somec. 99% Italian, the 1% being the Kool Stop brake pads for the Delta's, which have noticeably better braking performance than the Campag ones they replaced. Have replaced the 3T anatomic bars with some 3T Competizione's for a more traditional bend, added the Shamals, changed bar tape to black and added black saddle. I had to re-wire the brakes as they were set up the continental way with the left lever being the front brake and right lever the rear, and I'm not unlearning a habit of a lifetime on that one.
Despite my initial conviction to stick with black saddle and bar tape, as the frame and panto parts are already shouting from the rooftops, I'm already wavering. The above set up is fancy show off clothes, but I'm not going to be riding around London on those tubulars often, so for more regular duties I bought @HoKe 's lovely clincher Mavic Cosmic's
...and once I've met @bjj22 in the next week or so to swap the Shimano freehub for a Campag one, I plan to be using those, and that's got me thinking of another way. Also good news in that pictured above are 25c tyres, and I think there's enough clearance under the Delta's for some 28's, so if they fit that's the plan, probably some all black Veloflex's.The yellow decals on the wheels match the Somec decals on the frame, so I'm thinking of changing the black tape to yellow and have ordered some yellow Fizik to try. I know that Fizik yellow matches a yellow Flite saddle perfectly. I've got a yellow Flite but its on another bike so I don't want to take that, and there's none I can see on eBay and they're likely to be hella spendy if and when they do come up.
I do have a half yellow half black Turbomatic that I could use as the cheap and easy option, and in truth its more comfortable that the Flite. Do you think the half and half saddle will look OK with yellow tape and pedals or shall I try and find a full yellow one?
As for pedals, the Campag SGR pedals are things of beauty, but most of my bikes have Look Delta pedals and cleats, so I'm likely to change to them. The SGR pedals seem to command a high price on eBay so I can easily move them on. I have a few pairs or Look's in my parts bin, some grey pedals that might look decent with the grey on the frame, some plain black ones, that I think look newer than the others and don't quite go with the rest of the build. and some yellow ones.
...and I've got these on the way that should arrive next week.
So thoughts of the hive mind? Leave black tape and saddle and just add the last black pedals above, or go for the yellow tape, full yellow or half and half saddle and yellow pedals, or some other combo?
