That was in relation to a defence to defamation so I think you need to be a little careful about about implying a criminal burden of proof.
Sorry, how does “found to be justifiably described as a wife beater” imply a criminal burden of proof? If I was implying a criminal burden of proof I’d have just said “found to be a wife beater”. I was literally being careful about it.
