The paint is amazing. Great attention to detail. Generally not a huge fan of ahead converters on old steel but that looks great.

Thanks. Not been able to ride since I've an injured wrist at the moment. I'm 187cm so that justifies the size.

@Ordinata This is a classic threaded 1" fork with a modified adapter. I've posted pictures of it in my CP thread (https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/348222/). Also more pictures of finished build there.

10 years since I MGOOF'd the Ron Cooper. Paint job's holding up pretty well if you don't look too closely at the chainstay. SRAM 11-speed definitely making it ride the best it's felt in 35 years.

Beautiful. Not to much of that matt black nonsence that the young'uns on here seem to love... Are they all Goths or something ;-)

I like that ! Subtle changes made a big difference. I almost think that the old seatpost (with it's black accents) would look good back in palce !?

That one was probably too short by the looks of it...

Finally got around to reading (some of) the CP build. Very nice attention to detail in the refurb and the build. Makes me appreciate the result more.
