  • Uy Hoang pulling through yet again with the google street view for this one.

  • Bonkers

  • Good video. It was when planning for cycle rides he realised there was lots of Streetview missing. I also liked his counterpart(s) in New Zealand.

  • Uy has done a sterling job of mapping the waterways. It was relatively easy to find the current tag once I knew Uy had photographed it.

  • It's also fairly easy to find the current tag if you recall the almost a re-tag from 5 years ago...

  • Old: Meanwhile Skate Park, Paddington

    returned home empty handed

    not a clue

  • Sounds like you were on the right Line

  • Line as in knot?

  • so it's just at the end of the row of trees south of the bridge. very odd, just didn't see it
must have looked away at a most inopportune moment

  • NEW: central this time, more firsts. The thing on the floor is, I think, the first in Britain.

  • well butter my butt and call me a biscuit

    not a clue, just exasperation

  • More clues? What links that plaque with Spandau Ballet links the plaque with the location.

  • It's weird whenever street view has been past there, the coffee store next door has been closed - so it is difficult to confirm the Corten planters (Or perhaps they're a very recent addition - I can't imagine anyone lugging them indoors every time the store closes). I don't know about the brass plaque on the floor, but the one on the wall is the commemorative one and, according to street view it was installed sometime between 2014 and 2015.

  • Nope, it's the one on the floor and was installed last month. I found it by matching the planters and woodwork. The store is open on street view so maybe you are in the wrong place.

  • I sense that it came in with a bang, as opposed to going out with one.
I think that you are right about me being in the wrong place.

  • Since it's the weekend I have added another clue.

  • Old: first stolperstein laid in London, 3 golden square
