Few updates on the build.
New cranks, seatpost clamp, bottle cage, and a new front derailleur since old one was from a triple chainset and was hitting the new crank.

That bottle cage is nice!

Thanks @poorman !
Since i have plans to change fork to a hylix carbon one i need to change stem too. I am thinking of nitto UI-2 which is crmo steel so might rust and also might look weird colour wise next to that ritchey seatpost.
Or should i go for ritchey classic bar and stem combo? I am not sure on the angle of this stem. These modern stems always look weird on older frames.

Nice that. Why change to a Hylix?

If you change the fork you'll need a new stem and a new headset. The new stem should be 26 clamp or you'll need a new handlebar, or an ugly shim. Not worth it IMO

Your bike but as @Netakure says, a lot of hassle, especially if you're sticking with 25.4/26mm bars. Can't remember if he actually ordered it in the end but @tomsvoboda might be in the not very exclusive tried and bailed on the hylix fork club so may have one up for grabs. otherwise I think you can still get threaded 1" Mizuno's NOS which could work.
Silver campag brakes would be nice mind!

So i was lucky enough to get 1" alpina in my hands. Now it needs a headset and a -17° degree stem.

Fork sanded down and ready for paint even though I haven't decided how should I paint it. In a meanwhile Cane Creek forty headset, UNO stem with titanium bolts and Ritchey WCS bar installed and acetoned.
All this effort for a huge weight savings of 500g and a current weight of 9.05 kg. Should I push this down to sub 8kg?

So it happened that the fork I bought is a tad bit too short.
I didn't care too much since this is one inch Alpina fork which is really hard to find. I painted and installed it anyway. But considering my heavy ass and lightweight stem made in china I thought it would be a great idea to sort this out. I've tried to look for lower stack headsets without any luck and decided to remove the top bearing cover and it gave perfect stack height.
I noticed a gap and decided to 3d print a cover that fits in between the red expansion ring and bearing itself.
Also, it is way lighter than a chunky aluminum one.
