I also asked about mpg of the self propelled crane.
Operator normally fills up at the Depot.
Got caught out last week. Filled up the diesel tanks. £560.
Lasted 2 days.

I have to do a return trip in the car to Switzerland shortly. 2/3 days. If French SUL prices are the same as in the UK I reckon it'll cost be 500-600 quid in fuel. Plus autoroute fees and the Eurostar crossing. Probably rather more mileage than the crane though.
