    Indeed, because this appears to be a single mast (sloop) with two headsails (cutter). And it's gaff rigged.

    Edit: this source suggests the cutter/sloop distinction is based on the fore-aft position of the mast, but notes that this is hard to distinguish and that most people don't bother.
