If not the colly, am guessing Fatty Arbuckles, Mr G's, Bobby's or the Pink Flamingo? Or Browns, the D&T or the S.U. super club, Eclipse? I got thrown out of a few of those, might have been by you...
There was another club that became a 24hr snooker Hall, near the old Atkins bike shop where Lee Cooper did some frame stuff for a bit iirc.

I lived in Coventry (and worked part time as a bouncer at a club) for about a year in the early 00s. It was fantastic for early 20s me. Cheap booze, cheap rent and all the 24 hour snooker halls you could shake a stick at. In other words, you are right...it was hell on earth. I just didn't realise it at the time.
