  • Yeah the Polytune clip-on is very good. I keep it in strobe mode and while I’m sure it’s not as accurate as a more expensive Peterson strobe, it seems pretty damned sensitive to me.

  • @Fatberg-Dooks
thanks, I wasn't aware it had a strobe mode. I'm guessing that's one string at a time?
I've played (stumbled through) guitar since I was 8 and I'm saving up for an ibanez S series and I would really like to seem like I have been playing over 20 years with guitars that are in tune and intonated.
Kinda embarrassing the state my 2 are in BUT I do like to tinker I guess.

Speaking of saving up fro something good, I need to get rid id my Blackstar HT60 Stage (mk1).
Reverb has sold prices ranging from 200/250 up to 400!
Its got the cover, the footswitch and cable, papers great condition and everything works.
    Think I'll get 250/300?
    eBay or reverb?
(I'm in Leeds so doubt it would sell on here)

  • The strobe display is for single strings but you can still strum all 6 and it will give you the polyphonic display. Though I really only use the strobe mode to be honest.
