It should be ridden. It just seems sacrilege!!! It’s too mint for a numpty like me.

If you’re gonna ride, Id be tempted to take the gruppo and cables off, keep those pristine and stick on some modern fodder.

This is my thinking as well. I’m still pondering. I have a full DA 9150 di2 with full Enve including wheels but not keen to go drilling this !

Selling this beauty after 2 wonderful years together.

The bike has been ridden plenty and thoroughly enjoyed. It has been repaired and the ridden for about 2000km post crash, and is still in good a condition all things considered.

yeah, already got them. it also has the gold si forks installed and got a set of sisl2s with a spidering to put on. will get a -17 kalloy stem too.

Developed a crack in the headtube of my SS Evo 2020 after crashing at the weekend. Think it comes from the metal pins in the fork mashing the HT.

I am looking in to how it can be repaired but does anyone know if anywhere in the UK would do Supersix Evo frameset only? As that might be less faff if I can convince insurance to stump up for it (think there's a max of £2k they will cover for anything).

If I need to strip my Supersix Evo back to bare frame/fork (it's got the internally routed Knot bar/stem), will the brakes need bleeding and gear cables need replacing when it goes back together? What is the most faff-free way of getting the frame stripped and put back together as painlessly as possible? The answer is probably that it's impossible. Doubly wounding given that I had it stripped down and rebuilt about a week ago.

It's possible no, but you won't really know until you reassemble it

Thanks @PhilDAS - whilst I am down this rabbit-hole of despair I am considering changing the BB from the model that came with the bike as I noticed the bearings have gone, I've heard C-Bear being mentioned a few times - anyone used these in Cannondale bikes? I am unsure what model I would need to fit the 2020 SS Evo - guessing PF30a? But not sure if that model would then fit the Cannondale One crank?

c-bear do different things, for instance you could get their bb30 ceramic bearings if you intend on still using a bb30 crankset, or getting an adapter to use different cranks ( shimano, sram gxp, sram dub, praxis, etc... ). adapater could be from c bear or other brand

Without the original paintjob (green/black/silver supersix evo himod) and waiting for me to find time to build it again.

Easiest way is to undo everything at the mechs and the callipers so you don’t have to mess about with the routing through the bars.

You’ll have to cut the hoses to get them through the frame, which means they’ll need new olives/barbs and a bleed once you put it together. The gear outer will probably but fine but trying to reuse cut inners is such a faff it’s not worth it at all for a £4.99 cable.

You’ll need to BB out to make access easier when refitting cables/hoses. The BB in those frames is PF30A, although that doesn’t really make a difference if you’re using the Hollowgrams, as the bearings are inboard not outboard, you’ll need this BB https://www.c-bear.com/en/products/bottom-bracket/pf30-bb30-fsa-sram

Are you the original owner? You could start a crash replacement claim with cannondale and they’ll most probably offer you a good deal on a new frameset.

Just read you have the ONE cranks, I’d ditch those before a ceramic BB, for some hollowgram SI’s. Those ONEs are flexy boat anchors
