  • I finally bought a Brompton Electric!

However, the rear light isn’t working. Can I just unscrew this and take it off to test, or will that break any waterproofing that might be there?

Also, what’s the best way to test if it’s the rear light or the cable which needs fixing? Can I plug the rear light into the front light cable (front light works) to test what works? ie, if the rear light works somewhere else, it’s a cable problem? I doubt it’s a software problem?

  • Cheap multimeter, maybe; I had the battery version fail on me after a few days use: utter crap!

Any good replacements which fit Brompton's nicely?
