Unless it’s the altitude of cities which is usually metric, and then it goes back to feet for aircraft altitude (though that’s an intl civil aviation rule).

There are parts of the world (mainly Russia and other ex-Soviet states) where altitude below the Transition Level is measured in metres for civil aviation purposes, but most of the world does use feet.

(Also, fixed points on the ground have elevations, not altitudes)

AFAIK there aren't any hard rules. There has been speculation that they might already be at 54+ but he's going to wait till they are back after recess before announcing (ie Monday). Brady is no fan of Johnson so I think he'd time it to disadvantage him if anything.

Re Fabricant - I'm going to do some paddleboarding, have some afternoon beers and then keep an eye out to harass him when I see him. It's a very small village.
