I'm going to be selling my car privately this afternoon, I've not sold a car for 15 years...
If I use the online DVLA page to do so (https://www.gov.uk/sold-bought-vehicle, I understand that I don't have to post the V5C off - is that correct? Will the DVLA issue a new V5C to the new owner automatically?
I guess I should fill in the paper version anyway and give him the 'new keeper's details' bit just for the sake of it?
I.e. is that web page the only thing I need to do?
