Always been intrigued by Rohloff, but they are usually built for straight bars -as designed of course. But then I found this with a Berthoud shifter - bit of a rebuild, swap in Nitto bars, Avid cantis, service hub and I am pretty happy with it now.
Hewitt are not seen much but they are a small shop with their own builder, fit and finish is top class.
Ride is excellent with an unstopable feel, should have used tubeless rim though. As expected gear 7 sounds like winding an expensive clock, not unpleasant though. Gears above that are basically silent. Early days but I think I like it.
