  • Tried a test sleep in the camper last night, parked outside my flat.

I was comfortable, but found it very hard to sleep - not ideal.

The camper was on a slight angle, in peoples experience could this be the reason, or should I be looking elsewhere?

  • You probably just need to get used to it, different bed/surrounds etc.

  • I'm not sure I would sleep very well outside our flat. Our van feels very different when we're away compared to on our street - purely psychological but I think the best testing is 'real world' imo

  • Personally I find leveling the van makes a big difference for sleeping. You just never know what kinda surface you are going to end up on. I invested in blocks early doors. They get used loads. Also ear plugs all the way for me! Screen covers / blinds not only get it dark but give you privacy! Essential for me.
