GRX di2 is basically the same as XT di2 with a different badge

Did there used to be a thread for posting single-speed CX bikes? I thought there was but I can't find it now

Had a spin on a new crux and truly believe it could be the ultimate “do it all” bike
Seen the price after now trying to find a open mould source….

Low BB not an issue?
-
• #9232
My talent would run out before that was an issue.
Plus never liked traditional cross from, see Ridley, because of those. Always felt too tall… the best I ever had was a Raleigh Rx team that I wish I still had/could find to buy.

Ah see. I've always loved the euro Cross bikes. You can just keep pedalling round everything. First time I raced a more 'modern' cross bike I caught my pedal multiple times

Different strokes for folks innit.
I get the benefits and appreciate pedalling through but it’s just not for me. I can think of maybe 2 races I would have appreciated it in all the races I’ve done ironically one was bone dry in Houston…
I prefer the less twitchy steering.

Sticking these in here before making a proper ad:
I have a few matching cantilever race bikes for sale if anyone's interested.
56cm Kinesis C Six 2 carbon frames, Sram Force groupset (1x11), TRP brakes, Thompson seatposts, Ritchey WCS stems and bars, SLR saddles. Challenge Limus tubulars (one pair pretty much new, one quite used) on Forza wheels (budget, but reasonable).
They've done half a season of racing, so could probably do with a once over before next year, but bearings all feel okay. Ideal for racing and for #discbrakesaredead participation (n.b. there is brake shudder, not a problem whilst racing but perhaps does not make these ideal "gravel" bikes).
£800 for the pair, or £500 each. Currently in Bristol and ideally collected from here, though I will be making a trip to London at some point in the future. Sold without pedals.

Cx bike split here: https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/375533/#comment16506452
Would consider sharper pricing on wheels, fork and tubs if I knew they were going to any of the LFGSS racing contingent that keep it real with cantis.

I'll ask in here: is there a minimum rotor size for a planet x xla?

Has anybody heard anything more about the London date of the World Cup? Last I heard it was probably going to be at Crystal Palace in early December?
-
• #9239
Pencilled in for 11th December.
Gives me enough time to change my UCI code from GBR to IRL...

Hahaaaaa. I'll be going purely as a spectator, planning on taking my old man as a pre-Xmas treat. Cheers!

I'll see you in the beer tent

Unlikely anyone in here will want them, but I've got a pair of iron cross/novatec disc wheels I don't think I'll be using any time soon.
I haven't got pictures to hand right now, is anyone vaguely interested in buying them and what's an adequate price (shimano 10/11 free hub)? -
• #9243
Potentially interested, can you send me some details and pics (no rush)
-
• #9244
Yep, I'll try and get some sorted this weekend.

Premium Kent gravel dust on there.
Not as flash as stayer tubs.
Now I’ve taken pics of them I’m wondering why I want to sell them. -

Does anyone race on an all city nature cross?
I'm curious about sizing and possible 650b tyre clearance

why I want to sell them.
Too late, you're still getting a DM about them

• #9250
are these sold ?
it was the pre-cursor to the GRX, designed for the spring classics IIRC
From what I've read I think the only major difference between the RX and GRX is the GRX has a stronger electric motor in the Di2 version I have to handle the tougher conditions
I've also got a deore mtb rear mech so I could set up my CX bike for some hilly off road rides which I imagine is similar to the GRX
